Busted! Woman wanted in Kinney Drugs larceny arrested

ILION – Police have located and arrested the suspect in a considerable shoplifting incident at Kinney Drugs last month.

Officers arrested Anna M. Herringshaw, 24, of Fort Plain, on a warrant for the charge of petit larceny, police said. Canajoharie police assisted with the arrest.

Herringshaw allegedly stole seven boxes of teeth-whitening strips, with a total value of $353, from the Ilion Kinney Drugs on April 29. Police released surveillance photos following the incident, and asked for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect.

Upon further investigation, Herringshaw was charged with another count of petit larceny for the theft of $264 in Rogaine hair products, also from Kinney Drugs, at an earlier date.

Herringshaw was arraigned in village court following her arrest at 12:20 a.m., May 11, and sent to the Herkimer County Correctional Facility  in lieu of $2,500 cash bail, police said.
