LITTLE FALLS – Police have identified a body found floating in the Canal near Lock 17 in Little Falls early this morning, state police said.

On June 30, at about 4:30 a.m., a Canal Structure Operator for the New York State Canal Corporation made the grizzly discovery of a body floating in the water just east of the lock.
