UTICA, NY – AmeriCU is proud to present the new gift shop for the Children’s Museum, which will be located in ICAN’s Family Resource Center. The credit union recently presented a $150,000 check to Steven Bulger, ICAN CEO/Executive Director, to support the nonprofit’s commitment to Keeping Families Together through this first-of-its-kind facility and to provide a destination for our region’s families.
“AmeriCU’s generous donation shows their commitment to families in the Mohawk Valley,” said Bulger recently. “The gift shop is an important area located in the glass rotunda, which is being constructed right now. It will be a place where kids and families can get a memento to take home to remember the great time they had together at the museum. We are very grateful for AmeriCU’s support of this exciting area.”
ICAN assists individuals and families through a community-focused approach. Credit unions were built on the belief of people helping people, and at AmeriCU we are here to help support our community, the heart of the credit union mission.
“At AmeriCU, we value the importance of investing in the future of our community,” said Ron Belle, AmeriCU President & CEO. “We are honored to help create a space for children and their families to learn and grow while having fun and spending real quality time together.”
AmeriCU is proud to support and contribute to building a brighter future in the Mohawk Valley. The check was presented to Bulger on Monday, October 3 at ICAN’s Family Resource Center.
