HERKIMER COUNTY

Village of Ilion: (D#264728) Route 5S over Route 51. Westbound motorists will be detoured down the westbound exit ramp to a temporary three-color signal at the intersection with Route 51. They will then be directed up the entrance ramp to re-enter Route 5S westbound. Eastbound motorists will encounter a lane shift into the westbound lane with the Route 5S eastbound off ramp to Ilion closed. The signal, detour and lane shifts are due to the bridge deck replacement on Route 5S over Route 51.

Village of Ilion: (D#264647) Route 51 between Weber Ave and Fourth Street. Motorists will encounter a full road closure with a signed detour in place due to the bridge replacement over Steele Creek. The detour will be Route 51 to Route 20 to Route 28 to Route 5S back to Route 51.

Town of Columbia, Village of Ilion: (D#264479) Route 51 between Jordanville Road and Philip Street. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to guiderail and sign work.

ONEIDA COUNTY

Town of New Hartford, City of Utica: (D#264350) Route 5/12 between Wilbur Road and Lomond Place. Motorists will encounter lane shifts in both directions due replacement of the Route 8 overpass. There will also be a speed limit reduction of 45MPH through the work zone.

Town of New Hartford, City of Utica: (D#264350) Route 8, Route 840 between Commercial Drive and Campion Road. Beginning mid-week motorists will encounter a new traffic pattern. Traffic heading eastbound on Route 840/Southbound on Route 8 will be shifted onto the new bridge. They will be in the right driving lane, and it will remain one lane at this time. Access to Route 5/12 eastbound/northbound from Route 8 southbound and Route 840 eastbound will be via the Campion Road exit.

Town of New Hartford, City of Utica: (D#264350) Route 5/12 westbound/southbound ramp to Route 8 southbound. Motorists will encounter a full ramp closure with a signed detour in place.

Town of New Hartford, City of Utica: (D#264350) Route 8 northbound ramp to Route 5/12 eastbound/ northbound. Motorists will encounter a full ramp closure with a signed detour in place.

Town of New Hartford, City of Utica: (D#264350) Route 8/840 southbound/eastbound ramp to Route 5/12 eastbound/northbound. Motorists will encounter a full ramp closure with a signed detour in place.

Town of New Hartford, City of Utica: (D#264350) Route 5/12 eastbound/northbound ramp to Route 840 westbound. Motorists will encounter a full ramp closure with a signed detour in place.

Town of New Hartford: (D#264619) Route 8 over Oneida Street. Motorists will encounter the south bound lane shift into the northbound passing lane over Oneida Street due to bridge rehabilitation operations.

Town of New Hartford: (D#264619) Oneida Street under Route 8. Beginning Wednesday August 17, motorists will encounter a full road closure between Roberts Road and Hand Place with a signed detour in place. The closure is expected to take no longer than 28 days. The detour will utilize the Route 8 on/off ramps in Washington Mills and Route 8/Elm Street on/off ramps in Chadwicks.

City of Utica: Route 5S between Broadway and Auditorium Drive. Motorists will encounter a westbound lane closure due to miscellaneous construction activities at the Nexus Center.

City of Rome: (D#264607) Route 825 northbound (Wright Drive) /Route 365/East Dominick Street from Route 49. Motorists will encounter a full bridge closure with a signed detour in place. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions utilizing a 3-color temporary signal under the closed bridge due to bridge rehabilitation work.

City of Rome: (D#264604) Route 26 between Route 365 and Erie Blvd. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with a speed limit reduction to 45MPH during working hours due to the construction of new project ramps, mainline shoulder/joint repairs and the installation of underdrain.

Town of Western: (D#264624) Route 274 between Oliver Road and Long Shore Road. Motorists will encounter a full road closure with a signed detour in place. The detour will utilize Route 46 and Route 365.

Town of Florence: (D#264376) Route 13 between Barrell Road and Foley Lane. Motorists will encounter a full road closure with a signed detour in place due to a culvert replacement. The detour will utilize Route 69 in Camden and Route 183 in Williamstown & Amboy to divert all Route 13 traffic.

MADISON COUNTY

Village of Canastota: (D#264448) Route 13 between NYS Thruway Exit 34 and Warners Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both direction with temporary signals in place. Construction work is off the road and there will be the occasional stoppage of traffic due to material deliveries.

City of Oneida: (D#264753) Creek Road between Peterboro Road and North Butler Road. Motorists will encounter a full road closure with a signed detour in place due to the replacement of the culvert over Cowaselon Creek. The detour will utilize North Butler Road and Peterboro Road.

Village of Wampsville: (D#264449) Route 5 at Frier Lane. There will be sidewalk work occurring with no lane closures or impact to traffic.

Village of Canastota: (D#264449) Route 13 at Center Street. Motorists will encounter short term lane closures with flaggers in place due to sidewalk work, milling, and paving operations.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY

City of Amsterdam: (D#264031) Route 30 over the Canal. Route 5 eastbound ramp to Route 30 southbound remains closed. Erie Street eastbound will be closed and a temporary traffic signal will be utilized. Throughout the week we will see a combination of overnight lane closures in both the north and south bound lanes on the Route 30 bridge over the Mohawk River as deck work takes place.

City of Amsterdam: (D#264508) Route 5 between County Route 157 and Route 30 south bound. The temporary signal on Market Street is active. Route 5 westbound right lane is closed from Church Street to Market Street/Division Street.

City of Amsterdam: (D#264347) Route 5S at Route 30NB/SB ramps and Route 30 Thruway Exit 27. Motorists will encounter intermittent traffic control and lane shifting with flaggers in place for various pavement marking striping. On Route 5S @ PS Street there will shoulder closure work. There will also be short term traffic control while demolition work is being performed.

City of Amsterdam: Route 30 between Golf Course Road and Tessiero Square. Motorists will encounter a southbound right lane closure with flaggers in place due to the installation of new drainage, curb, and sidewalk on the shoulder of Route 30.

Village of Fonda: (D#264656) Route 334 between Route 5 and Veeder Street. Motorists will encounter various lane closure work with flaggers in place due to sidewalk and hardscape work.

Village of Fonda: (D#264656) Route 5 between Hickory Hill Road and Mohawk Drive. Motorists will encounter various lane closure work with flaggers in place due to sidewalk and hardscape work.

Village of Fort Johnson: (D#264383) Route 5 at the intersection of Route 67. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions due to the removal of the existing signal equipment at the intersection of Route 5 at Route 67. There will also be miscellaneous signal work being performed.

Village of Canajoharie: (D#264620) Route 5S between Little Mohawk Street and Mitchell Street. There will be bridge work being performed along with Variable message signs being placed with no impact to traffic.

Town of Glen: (D#264729) Route 5S between Ingersoll Road and Auriesville Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with a 3-color temporary signal in place due to bridge work on the bridge over Auries Creek.

Town of Minden: (D#264479) Route 80 between Casler Road and Fordsbush Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to culvert, drainage, guiderail, and sign work.

Town of Root: (D#264744) Route 162 Between Route 5S and Sullivan Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to drainage work and cold recycling asphalt concrete.

FULTON COUNTY

Town of Johnstown, Town of Ephratah: (D#264567) Route 67 between Route 10 and Abel Drive. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to paving operations.   

City of Johnstown: (D#264292) Route 29, Route 30A between Briggs Street and Prindle Ave. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions due to traffic signal work. There will be intermittent flagging operations at the intersection of Route 30A @ Briggs Street.

Town of Johnstown: Route 29 between Route 30A and Route 30. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to paving operations.

HAMILTON COUNTY

Town of Inlet: Route 28 between the Herkimer County line and Sagamore Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to utility work.

Town of Arietta: (D#264600) Route 10 in the area of Jockeybush Lake. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions due to culvert repair.
