There will also be a speed limit reduction of 45MPH through the work zone. There may be daily ramp closures for paving operations, a travel advisory will be issued for this work.

Town of New Hartford, City of Utica: (D#264350) Route 8, Route 840 between Commercial Drive and Campion Road. Traffic will be travelling in one lane in each direction over the bridge.

Town of New Hartford, City of Utica: (D#264350) Route 5/12 westbound/southbound ramp to Route 8 southbound. Motorists will encounter a full ramp closure with a signed detour in place.

Town of New Hartford: (D#264619) Route 8 over Oneida Street. Motorists will encounter the south bound lane shift into the northbound passing lane over Oneida Street due to bridge rehabilitation operations.

Town of New Hartford: Middlesettlement Road between Route 5 and Clinton Street. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to gas main relocation work.

Town of New Hartford: Route 8 over Genesee Street (BIN1051530). Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions above and below the bridge due to the bridge inspection.

City of Utica: Route 5S between Broadway and Auditorium Drive. Motorists will encounter a westbound lane closure due to miscellaneous construction activities at the Nexus Center.

Town of Deerfield: (D#264591) Route 8 between Roberts Road and Walker Road. Motorists will encounter a full road closure with a signed detour in place due to culvert replacement. The detour will utilize Walker Road, Miller Road, and Roberts Road.

Town of Remsen: Route 12 between Old Stage Road and East Steuben Road. Motorists will encounter a northbound left lane closure due to Piezo traffic sensor replacement.

Village of Oriskany: River Street between Route 69 and Route 49. On Thursday October 20th through Friday October 21st, motorists will encounter a full road closure with a signed detour utilizing Route 291 due to bridge maintenance repairs.

City of Rome: (D#264607) Route 825 northbound (Wright Drive) /Route 365/East Dominick Street from Route 49. Motorists will encounter a full bridge closure with a signed detour in place. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions utilizing a 3-color temporary signal under the closed bridge due to bridge rehabilitation work.

City of Rome: (D#264604) Route 26 between Route 365 and Erie Blvd. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with a speed limit reduction to 45MPH during working hours due to the construction of new project ramps, and the beginning of the shoulder and mainline paving.

City of Rome: (D#264753) Dewey Road between Lawrence Street and Route 26. Motorists will encounter a full road closure with a detour in place due to the replacement of the culvert over Wheeler Creek. The detour will utilize Lawrence Street, Dix Road and Route 26.

Town of Western: (D#264624) Route 274 between Oliver Road and Long Shore Road. Motorists will encounter a full road closure with a signed detour in place due to bridge replacement. The detour will utilize Route 46 and Route 365.

MADISON COUNTY

Village of Canastota: (D#264448) Route 13 between NYS Thruway Exit 34 and Warners Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both direction with temporary signals in place. Construction work is off the road and there will be the occasional stoppage of traffic due to material deliveries.

City of Oneida: (D#264753) Creek Road between Peterboro Road and North Butler Road. Motorists will encounter a full road closure with a signed detour in place due to the replacement of the culvert over Cowaselon Creek. The detour will utilize North Butler Road and Peterboro Road.

HERKIMER COUNTY

Village of Ilion: (D#264728) Route 5S over Route 51. Westbound motorists will be detoured down the westbound exit ramp to a temporary three-color signal at the intersection with Route 51. They will then be directed up the entrance ramp to re-enter Route 5S westbound. Eastbound motorists will encounter a lane shift into the westbound lane with the Route 5S eastbound off ramp to Ilion closed. The signal, detour and lane shifts are due to the bridge deck replacement on Route 5S over Route 51. There will be a speed limit reduction to 45MPH through the work zone.

Village of Ilion: (D#264647) Route 51 between Weber Ave and Fourth Street. Motorists will encounter a full road closure with a signed detour in place due to the bridge replacement over Steele Creek. The detour will be Route 51 to Route 20 to Route 28 to Route 5S back to Route 51.

Town of Columbia, Village of Ilion: (D#264479) Route 51 between Jordanville Road and Philip Street. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to sign work.

Village of West Winfield: (D#264453) Route 20 between North Street and Fairgrounds Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to roadside and landscaping work.

Town of Schuyler: Route 5 over Sterling Creek (BIN 1002390). Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to bridge inspection.

Town of Herkimer: Route 5 over the abandoned CSX railroad (BIN1002429). Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to bridge inspection.

Town of Frankfort: Route 5S and Route 5 at Dyke Road. Motorists will encounter eastbound lane closure due to utility work.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY

City of Amsterdam: (D#264031) Route 30 over the Canal. Route 5 eastbound to Route 30 southbound ramp remains closed. The Erie Street ramps are closed to traffic. Cleveland Ave is closed to traffic while paving takes place. There will be various left and right lane closures on the Route 30 bridge as fascia work and various punchlist work takes place. The Route 30 northbound to Erie Street detour is in place. The Erie Street to Route 30 northbound detour is in place.

City of Amsterdam: (D#264508) Route 5 between County Route 157 and Route 30 south bound. The intersection of Route 5/Market Street/Division Street roundabout is open to traffic. Division Street is closed to traffic with a signed detour in place. The detour will direct traffic into the roundabout and exit on Market Street. East Main Street is closed for reconstruction work. The East Main Street detour will direct traffic onto Route 5 eastbound to East Main Street.

City of Amsterdam: Route 5S over Route 30 (BIN 1002960). Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions on Route 30 due to bridge inspection.

Village of Fonda: (D#264656) Route 334 between Route 5 and Veeder Street. Motorists will encounter various lane closure work with flaggers in place due to various manhole punchlist work. There will be shoulder closures and short-term flagging operations while performing overhead signal work.

There will also be culvert work being performed utilizing long term shoulder closures of both shoulders.

Town of Johnstown, Town of Ephratah: (D#264567) Route 67 between Route 10 and Abel Drive. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to sign installation, CARDS, and final striping.   

City of Johnstown: (D#264292) Route 29, Route 30A between Briggs Street and Prindle Ave. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions due to traffic signal work. There will be intermittent flagging operations at the intersection of Route 29 @ Route 30A.

Town of Oppenheim: (D#264600) Route 29 between Route 331 and Montana Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to culvert replacement.

Town of Stratford: Route 29a over the East Canada Creek (BIN 1020740). Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to bridge inspection.
